It's handcrafted by Carrick, an independent pottery owned by Amiee Holt and based in Scotland. Amiee chose the name Carrick for her ceramic work because it translates to 'rock' in Gaelic, a term which serves as a reminder of her coastal hometown in rural Galloway.
As well as being inspired by Scotland's rugged landscapes and crashing seas, Amiee is influenced by the minimalism and simplicity of Japanese forms.
